There is always room for improvement.

On January 21, 2016   the second tour of the contest “The teacher of the Year 2016”  - nomination “English”  took place at ITTI in Lviv.

On the first stage of the regional contest the competitors presented their workshops. They introduced a lot of new methods and approaches in teaching English to the jury. While presenting the participants involved their colleague rivals in different activities such as pair and group work, reading and singing. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly.

The zest of the contest this year was the presentation of competitors’ blogs. The jury assessed the contents of the blogs and their design.

There was also a test on teaching proficiency. According to the results, 12 participants were chosen for the second stage of the second tour of the contest.

On 27 January all the competitors gathered at School “Sofia” in Lviv.  They presented their educational projects on 4 interesting topics. According to the results of today’s trial the participants of the final will be announced.
